Bloggers Closet is the home of fabulous fashion! A global shopping destination, Bloggers Closet is the first of it’s kind… a community created by a blogger, exclusively for bloggers and style lovers. It’s a fantastic way to buy gorgeous clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry, direct from the closets of leading tastemakers and trend setters around the globe.
With an ever over-flowing wardrobe, bloggers have all the latest and greatest fashion – often only worn once or very gently used! How many times have you seen something on a blog, only to find it’s sold out? Now bloggers can sell their style and you can shop it!

THERE ARE ‘BUY NOW’ AND AUCTION LISTINGS?
Yes, that’s right! We believe in flexibility, so there are two options for listing items, ‘Buy Now’ or Auction.
Buy Now: This is exactly as it sounds, buyers can purchase the item immediately!
Auction: Love a little excitement? Sellers can also create Auction listings. Want the item? Make a bid! For convenience, you can enter the maximum bid you wish to make on the item… let our auto-bidder do the rest! We only auto-bid (in $1 increments) up to your maximum if necessary and if you are out-bid, you’ll receive an email to advise.
HOW DO I PAY? ARE MY DETAILS SECURE?
Your security, privacy and convenience are of utmost importance to us. Therefore, all transactions are done via PayPal. This means you can use your existing PayPal balance, a bank account or Credit Card! Once you have completed the initial check-out process, you will be directed to input your PayPal information, or select the ‘Credit Card’ option underneath this. Voila! Your purchase is complete.
All items and shipping details are listed in USD $. This currency is used across the entire site. If you are shopping from outside the United States, PayPal will automatically convert your currency at the time of purchase.
IS IT FREE TO BUY AND SHOP?
Absolutely! It’s free to Sign Up and it’s always free to buy and shop.
IS IT FREE TO LIST ITEMS FOR SALE?
Yes, it is! Sellers only pay a flat rate commission once the item they listed has sold and been paid for. Refer to the Seller FAQ’s below for additional information.
CAN I BUY MULTIPLE ITEMS AND COMBINE SHIPPING FROM ONE SELLER?
Yes! Want to buy a few items from the one Closet? Contact the Seller! To do this, please contact the Seller directly using the ‘Message Seller’ button – it is located on their main Closet page or on an individual item listing page. You will be able to message back and forth to negotiate the price and shipping for multiple items.
Once this is finalized, the Seller can create a ‘Private Listing’ and include all your items and the relevant shipping cost within one listing. The Seller will then message you the direct URL link to this listing, which is not published on the main site and is only visible to those who have the direct URL link (eg. you and the Seller).
You can then complete the purchase as normal, using the ‘Buy Now’ button.
HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?
Buyers are responsible for the cost of shipping. When a Seller lists an item, they advise the countries they are willing to ship to, along with the shipping provider, delivery service (eg. overnight, 2 days) and cost.
This shipping information is displayed on each item listing, under the ‘Shipping Details’ section. The cost of shipping to your particular country will be automatically added on ‘Buy Now’ check-out or when you pay for an Auction.
Sellers, please ship items to the Buyer ASAP after payment has been made… you know what it’s like when you’re eagerly awaiting an exciting fashion delivery!
I’VE SIGNED UP, NOW WHAT?
It’s time to shop! As you find items you like, add them to your Love List. When viewing an item listing, simply click ‘Add to Love List’… you can access this any time and view your favorites by selecting ‘Love List’ in the main navigation bar.
You can also ‘Follow’ your favorite Closets! Is there a particular bloggers’ style you adore? Stay connected by clicking the gold ‘Follow’ button on their profile or item listing. You can view your favorite bloggers anytime by selecting ‘My Follow List’ (located under the ‘Love List’ tab in the main navigation bar).
Take a quick moment to set-up your account… add a profile image, choose your display name (for when you ask questions and interact on the site) and include your shipping address.
WHERE ARE MY ACCOUNT DETAILS?
Once logged in, your control centre is in the ‘My Account’ tab. This is located at the top right, opposite the Bloggers Closet logo.
To edit, click the black ‘Edit My Account’ button. In here, you will be able to add a custom profile photo, edit your name, password and email address.
CAN I CHANGE MY USERNAME?
When signing up, please choose your Username carefully – unfortunately, this cannot be changed.
HOW DO I ADD MY PROFILE PHOTO?
Customize your account and add a profile photo! Once you have signed up, go to ‘My Account’. Click the black ‘Edit My Account Details’ button. You can then upload a new profile photo.
WHAT COUNTRIES ARE INCLUDED?
Bloggers Closet is currently available for buyers located (or with a shipping address) in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Italy, Japan and China. If your country is outside this network, you can always connect with a mail forwarding service in one of these regions.
Our Sellers are currently located in the United States, Canada and Australia. We will be extending to include more locations soon – want to see your country listed? Let us know!
I WON AN AUCTION, HOW DO I PAY?
You will receive an email notifying you of this fabulous news! Simply follow the link and make payment. We request you make payment immediately, however you will have a window of 5 days to do this. If you do not make payment, the sale will be revoked and the Seller can choose to do what they wish (eg. re-list the item for sale).
You can also access your Won Auctions and make payment at any time. Go to ‘My Account’. Under the ‘My Won Auctions’ section, you will see your item listed. Click ‘Pay Now’ (located next to the item title).
HOW DO I VIEW MY PURCHASES?
Go to ‘My Account’. In the left sidebar, select ‘View My Purchases’. For further information about a particular item, click the black ‘View’ button.
HOW DO I CONTACT THE SELLER ABOUT MY PURCHASE?
Once you are logged in, go to ‘My Account’. In the left sidebar, click ‘View My Purchases’. You will then be able to see all items you have purchased. Click ‘View’ next to the particular item you wish to contact the Seller about. Underneath the item details, you will be able to contact the Seller via message.
HOW DO I RESOLVE AN ISSUE?
Bloggers Closet is always here if you need us, however all purchases take place directly between the Seller and Buyer. If you want to ask the Seller a question about your purchase or resolve an issue, please contact the Seller directly (refer to instructions above).
On the rare occasion an issue cannot be resolved amicably, it’s time to call in the amazing resolution centre hosted by PayPal. Here is how it works:
– Log in to your PayPal account
– Go to the Resolution Centre and click, ‘Open a Dispute’
– Describe your concerns politely and send this message (it will go directly to the Seller)
– The Seller is notified via email and also on their PayPal account
– The Seller can then respond to your message. Remember, good communication is key to resolving issues!
– If the dispute is not escalated to a ‘Claim’ by either party in 20 days, it will be automatically closed
– If the issue remains unresolved, the Buyer escalates the ‘Dispute’ to a ‘Claim’ and PayPal reviews the case
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’M ASKED TO TRANSACT OFF THE WEBSITE?
Encouraging Bloggers Closet members to buy outside Bloggers Closet is not acceptable. This is a community after all! If you are approached to make a transaction outside the site, please advise us immediately via the Contact Us form or send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
WHO CAN SELL ON BLOGGERS CLOSET?
Are you a blogger with an overflowing closet? It’s time to start selling (so you can make way for new additions!).
Closets are available to bloggers on application; this ensures the site remains authentic… we’re all about bloggers! Oh and you don’t have to be a fashion specific blogger, you just need to have a blog. Closets are currently available for bloggers located in the United States, Canada and Australia. We will be extending to include more locations soon – want to see your country listed? Let us know!
HOW CAN I GET A CLOSET?
Selling has never been easier! First, you need to Sign Up for a standard Bloggers Closet account (this is located under the ‘Join Us’ tab in the main navigation bar).
When you are logged in, go to the ‘Join Us’ tab again and select ‘Apply For A Closet’. Simply complete your details and submit.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive your closet space and a unique URL (www.bloggerscloset.com/closet/YourName). Your custom closet includes everything you need to sell your fashion and promote your blog! What are you waiting for? Apply for your closet now!
HOW MUCH COMMISSION DO I PAY? HOW DO I RECEIVE MY MONEY?
Once your item has sold and been paid for, a commission fee of 20% is deducted and you will receive immediate payment directly from the Buyer into your PayPal account. There’s no waiting time or hassle to get your money, it’s in your pocket straight away – all done with the security and convenience of PayPal.
HOW DO I ADD MY CLOSET BANNER IMAGE?
You will need to log in to Bloggers Closet. Go to the ‘My Closet’ tab in the main navigation bar and select ‘Manage My Closet’. This is where you can customize everything… add your closet header photo, a short bio, your blog URL and for extra exposure, your social media links!
The closet banner image you upload needs to be ideally 700px wide. If your image doesn’t meet these dimensions, a default banner will be used. Don’t worry, it’s still really pretty – gold, glittery, sparkly!
WHAT TYPE OF LISTINGS CAN I DO?
You have the flexibility to sell items via Auction or Buy Now to a global audience across the United States, Canada, Australia, China, France, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom.
Buy Now: This is exactly as it sounds, buyers can purchase your item immediately!
Auction: Love a little excitement? You can also create 3 day, 5 day or 7 day Auction listings. When listing your item for Auction, you can place your own starting price, so you’ll always feel comfortable the minimum your item sells for.
Private Listing: If a Buyer wishes to purchase multiple items from you and combine shipping, this is the way to do it! Please see below for instructions.

When creating a Private Listing, include all items the Buyer wants to purchase and the relevant shipping cost (all within one listing). Once you have completed this, go to ‘My Listings’ and click the relevant title. You will be directed to the live listing page. Now, message the Buyer the direct URL link to this listing, it is not published on the main site and is only visible to those who have the direct URL link (eg. you and the Buyer).
The Buyer will visit this link and can then complete the purchase as normal, using the ‘Buy Now’ button
WHAT PHOTO SIZES SHOULD I USE?
When creating a listing to sell your item, please upload file sizes that are under 250KB. The photo dimensions should be at least 400px wide x 400opx high.
IS IT FREE TO LIST ITEMS?
Yes, it absolutely is! Listing is always free on Bloggers Closet. You only pay a transparent flat rate commission once the item has sold and been paid for by the buyer. There’s no risk, you only pay a small fee once your sale is successful!
CAN I CREATE LISTINGS FROM MY IPHONE OR IPAD?
Yes, you can! It works the same as a desktop. Simply go to www.bloggerscloset.com in your mobile browser and follow the same process as normal. When uploading images, they will need to fit the standard requirements – size under 250KB and dimensions at least 400px wide x 400px high.
Did you know you can make your iPhone / iPad images a smaller file size by emailing them to yourself (at which point it will ask you what size you want it to be). Once emailed to yourself, simply open the email on your iPhone / iPad and re-save the photo. You’ll now be able to upload this smaller file size and create your listing!
WHAT CAN I SELL ON BLOGGERS CLOSET?
Bloggers Closet is a global marketplace for the sale and purchase of fashion and accessories. Please refrain from listing items that do not fit into a particular category on the site.
The biggest thing to remember in a community like this, is treat others the way you would like to be treated. When you list an item, be clear and ensure it is accurately represented. Be transparent, honest, helpful and polite. Give as much detail as you can and if someone asks a question on your listing, answer them promptly.
New and Pre-Loved items can be listed on Bloggers Closet, provided they are in good, clean condition. Closet owners are not allowed to sell goods such as perfume, makeup, nail polish, aerosol products, electronics, books, home goods, swimsuits, undergarments and any beauty or health products.
You must legally own the goods you are selling. Bloggers Closet does not allow the sale of replicas or fakes.
I JUST SOLD MY ITEM! WHAT DO I DO?
Firstly, congratulations! If the item was sold via a ‘Buy Now’ listing, the buyer would have made payment to you immediately via PayPal. The amount you receive will include the final sale value (less 20% commission paid to Bloggers Closet), plus the shipping value you placed on the item.
If the item you listed was via Auction, an invoice will be automatically sent to the highest/winning bidder advising them the amount due for payment to you. We request all invoices are paid immediately, however the Buyer will have five days to make payment to you. If they do not during this period, the sale will not proceed and you can then re-list the item.
Once you have received payment, please organize to ship the item(s) promptly via the method described in your listing. Your buyers will be excited to receive their gorgeous new items, so please complete the shipping required within two business days.
HOW DO I CONTACT THE BUYER?
Communication is key! You can easily send the Buyer a message at any time to keep them updated and informed of relevant things.
You can also easily let the Buyer know you have shipped their item by going to the ‘Sold Items’ page (located under ‘Manage My Closet’ in the sidebar). Simply click ‘Mark As Shipped’ next to the relevant item.
To send the Buyer a message, go to ‘My Account’. In the left sidebar, select ‘Sold Items’. Next to the relevant item, simply click ‘Message Buyer’. You can then send a little note, a thank you or tracking number information!
WHAT IS MY CUSTOM BLOGGERS CLOSET URL?
Did you know that every Seller has their own custom closet page URL? It will be www.bloggerscloset.com/closet/YourClosetName.
It’s a perfect way to share all your items for sale and tell your blog readers and followers about your closet!
